CGI Photo Realistic Owl Renderings

We were asked to create a generic photorealistic CG Owl, what we ended up creating was a small range of realistically rendered owls.  We hope you like this little chap we have fallen a little bit in love with him. We started with a base 3d model of the bottom owl which we re posed, then remodelled and then rendered in hi resolution and then made some subtle retouching over the top to tidy up some of the feathered edges.
